About Brasil Eco Villas

The project began life in 2003, when we first came to Paraiba. We’d been exploring the coast of north east Brazil, searching for the perfect place to realise our dream.
A fully sustainable tourism project, in a forest setting next to picture postcard beaches.

Our ambition. To create a very exclusive resort featuring bungalow and hotel accommodation, with luxury recreation and spa facilities.

We were immediately inspired by the area north of Joao Pessoa, especially the village of Lucena. Pristine beaches and clean seas were just the start, and what really drew us to the Bom Successo site were the existing eco trails running through virgin Atlantic forest, littered with ancient ruins, fresh water pools and breathtaking cliff top views of the Atlantic Ocean.

Several visits later, having convinced authorities of our commitment to creating a sustainable project, that would respect the unique natural and historical importance of the area, we purchased 150 hectares of forest fronting onto a 2km stretch of tropical beach.

Fast forward to 2011 and we have all the necessary planning applications and administrative approvals in place.

Because of our determination for Brasil Eco Villas to respect the environment, and have a minimum impact on this unique site, progress has been painstakingly thorough.

We’ve now sourced all the materials required to build what we believe is Brasil’s most sustainable high end tourism project, in an area that’s already attracting a growing number of adventurous travellers from around the world.
